5 suspects surrender to police after hit-and-run pursuit ends near Boyle Heights
The California Highway Patrol is in pursuit of a hit-and-run suspect near Sylmar.
The Ventura County Sheriff's Office began the chase.
Oxnard police say vehicle was stolen 30 minutes before the pursuit
The Oxnard Police Department said the pickup truck was stolen 30 minutes before the pursuit.
The owner reportedly left the keys inside the vehicle after parking it in front of a home.
Suspect, 4 passengers surrender to police near Boyle Heights
The suspect and four passengers surrendered to police shortly after exiting the I-5 Freeway near the Arts District and Boyle Heights.
Suspect back on the freeway
The suspect has reentered the I-5 Freeway after driving through the Angels Stadium parking lot.
The pursuit continues northbound through Anaheim.

The driver exited the I-5 Freeway and entered the Angels Stadium parking lot.
The vehicle went through a speed bump sending sparks into the air.
The police continued to chase him through the empty parking lot as the suspect weaved in and out of spaces.
Pursuit enters Orange County
The pursuit has now covered about 90 miles.
It began in Fillmore and is now near Anaheim. Authorities said that the driver, who allegedly stole the pickup truck from Oxnard, sped away from a hit-and-run crash.
Authorities believe vehicle is also stolen
In addition to being involved in a hit-and-run collision, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office said the pickup truck was reportedly stolen out of Oxnard.
Pursuit goes from Fillmore to East LA
The pursuit has covered nearly 62 miles going from Fillmore to East Los Angeles.
The driver has stayed on the southbound portion of the I-5 Freeway for the majority of the pursuit.
Pursuit began in Fillmore, deputies say
According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the pursuit began in Fillmore after the driver hit another vehicle.
Deputies said no one was injured in the crash which happened off of Woodgrove Road.
The driver routinely hit speeds over 85 mph during the chase.
