'I Need Help!' Man Runs Into Nail Salon After Fatal Roseville Shooting
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - Police have arrested two people in connection with the fatal shooting in Roseville that killed one person and left another with non-life threatening injuries on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the Placer County Sheriff's office identified the victim as 21-year-old Lyla Christian of Sacramento.
On Wednesday around 2:30 p.m., a 911 caller says they heard arguing at the Vineyard Gate Apartments, then shots fired around 2:30 p.m., say police. Officers arrived at the scene and, following their investigation, arrested Britany Holton, the woman who allegedly pulled the trigger. She was booked into the South Placer Jail on charges of murder. A second suspect, Jordan Townsend, has been arrested and booked into the South Placer Jail on charges of human trafficking. Police have not said how he was involved in the incident.
Police say they found Christian a few miles away, dead in a car outside of the Sacramento Metro Fire station on Roseville Road.
New video from surveillance cameras outside a nail salon on Roseville Road shows a man running into the business, frantically asking for help.
"He just yelled out to the shop, "I need help! My friend got shot! Does anybody speak English?" said owner Alex Tran. "I remember there's a fire department right there, so I yelled to them go there, and get help right away."
The second victim was at the hospital when they were identified as being a victim of the shooting. This victim has not yet been identified.
"What I could see was a female yelling on a phone that someone got shot and a male kind of running around the car -- frantic," said Miranda Orr, who was working at the Sprint Store on Antelope Road when the shooting happened.

Police said there are multiple witnesses at the apartment complex. Detectives questioned them as well as the victim at the hospital Wednesday evening.
Neighbor Emily Wolcik says she and her family share a wall with the two suspects at this luxury apartment complex.
"We came home and our whole pod was like blocked off with caution tape," she said.
She arrived home almost five minutes after the shooting.
"I guess there was a lot of arguing, and shots were fired; people fled," she said.
She says she doesn't know the two people who were shot but says her neighbors keep to themselves.
