Neighbors Unsettled After Woman Shoots Two People At Roseville Apartment Complex
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — Police are trying to piece together why a woman shot two people at a Roseville apartment complex on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said a 911 caller heard arguing at the Vineyard Gate Apartments, then shots fired around 2:30 p.m. Police detained the female shooter but aren't saying much about the victims.
One of the victims ended up at a local hospital, and the other was found dead in a car a few miles away outside the Sacramento Metro Fire station on Roseville Road. Police say witnesses reported several people left the scene after the shooting.
This all happened around 3 p.m., in the middle of Miranda Orr's shift at the Sprint Store on Antelope Road.
"What I could see was a female yelling on a phone that someone got shot and a male kind of running around the car frantic," she said.

Police said there are multiple witnesses at the apartment complex. Detectives questioned them as well as the victim at the hospital Wednesday evening.
"It's unknown why all of these individuals were together," said Rob Baquera, a spokesperson for Roseville Police.
Many people living at the complex arrived home to a shock.
"[I'm] baffled, I can't believe something like this happened in Roseville, especially in this nice little complex," said Chris Novak.
Novak spotted something he never expected, just yards away from his home.
"When I got here, I saw some blood on the ground and I didn't know what was going on," he said.
Police later arrested two people in connection with the shooting.
Police have not yet released the name of the person who died.
