Elverta Man Sought By Deputies On Attempted Murder Charge Arrested
ELVERTA (CBS13) - Placer County authorities have arrested a suspect accused of attempted murder.
On Sunday, Hector Delgado Evangelista, 27, of Elverta, was reportedly involved in a domestic violence incident that the Placer County Sheriff's Office is calling attempted murder.
Detectives were actively searching for Evangelista and a $500,000 arrest warrant was issued.
On Monday, the sheriff's office announced that Evangelista had been arrested. Exactly where he was found was not disclosed.
Authorities say the victim is expected to survive.
Evangelista was booked at the South Placer Jail Monday and charged with attempted murder. His bail was set at $500,000, the Placer County Sheriff's Office said.
