Young Dearborn Man Dies After Ford Road Crash
DEARBORN (WWJ) - A young man from Dearborn has died after an accident Sunday night along Ford Road.
Police said a Honda Accord with five men — all ages 19 or 20 — inside went off Ford Rd. near Hawthorne St. and hit several traffic signs around 8:30 p.m.
A man in the front seat of the car died from his injuries at an area hospital. The others inside the car weren't hurt.
In a statement, Police Chief Ronald Haddad called the incident "a terrible tragedy."
Police said neither alcohol or drugs appear to have played a part in the crash, which is still under investigation.
