Yahoo To Exclusively Stream Bills-Jaguars London Game Online

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Yahoo! Inc. announced Wednesday it will host the first Internet-only broadcast of a NFL regular season game.
The Oct. 25 game between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars in London will be available across multiple properties, including Yahoo, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Screen, and Tumblr.
"The NFL has always been committed to being at the forefront of media innovation," said Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the National Football League, in a release. "Through this partnership with Yahoo -- one of the world's most recognizable digital brands -- we are taking another important step in that direction as we continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving digital media landscape."
Football fans around the world will be able to watch the game for free on Yahoo's multiple platforms on phone, tablet, laptop, console or connected device.
The game will also be televised in the both the Buffalo (WIVB-TV and Jacksonville (WTEV-TV) markets at 9:30 a.m. EST.

The Detroit Lions will play at Wembley Stadium the following week. The Lions will play the Kansas City Chiefs at 9:30 a.m. EST, Nov. 1. The game will be broadcast on FOX according to the team website.
