Woman Fatally Struck By 2 Vehicles In Northwest Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - A 49-year-old woman has died after she was hit by two cars on Detroit's northwest side.
The accident happened Monday night along Wyoming Avenue near 8 Mile Road.
According to police, the woman stepped into traffic and was subsequently struck by two vehicles.
The first driver told police that she feared for her life because a crowd gathered after the collision, so she drove to a nearby police precinct. Officials instructed her to go back to the scene and talk with investigators.
The second driver stopped at the scene.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
