Woman Ejected From Car, Killed During Crash In Warren
WARREN (WWJ) -- A St. Clair Shores woman is dead following an accident in Warren on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the 48-year-old was driving on 12 Mile Rd. near Bunert when her car collided with another driven by a 47-year-old man from Ohio. It's unclear who or what initially caused the accident, but it ended in the woman's car hitting a light pole where she was ejected.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor as the investigation continues. The intersection was closed for about an hour on Saturday evening and reopened around 7:30 p.m.
