Woman Beaten To Death With Spiked Baseball Bat
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are investigating on Detroit's west side where a woman was found brutally beaten to death on Friday.
Police say a 53-year-old woman was beaten to death with a baseball bat covered in spikes at a house on Bramell St., near Tireman St. and Ann Arbor Trail.
The victim's grandchildren called 911 after finding her assaulted in her home.
The woman's 34-year-old stepson is in custody. Investigators say the man beat the woman while she was trying to get him to leave her home.
