Wayne County Executive Warren Evans delivers 2024 State of the County address

(CBS DETROIT) - Wayne County Executive Warren Evans delivered his 2024 State of the County address on Tuesday at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. 

Evans discussed Wayne County's economic development initiatives, the new Criminal Justice Complex, prioritizing the health and wellness of county residents and workforce development. 

"We recently passed our ninth balanced budget, a $2.2 billion budget that invests in health, public safety, and our shared infrastructure. Wayne County's credit has been upgraded by all three major credit-rating agencies – Moody's, Fitch, and Standard and Poor's – elevating us to "A" level ratings across the board," Evans said.
