Watch Jennifer Hudson Portray Aretha Franklin In 'RESPECT' Biopic

(CBS DETROIT) - The new trailer for the biopic "RESPECT" shines a light on Detroit native and the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.

Franklin requested Jennifer Hudson to play her in the movie before she died in 2018.

The movie is set to debut on Christmas day.
