(CBS DETROIT) - The body of a jet skier who went missing Thursday in Lake St. Clair was found Friday, police say.

The body of 21-year-old Jonathan Kloss of Chesterfield Township was found around 11:30 a.m. Friday by the Macomb County Sheriff's Marine Division in Anchor Bay, near the boat launch at Brandenburg Park.

Officials received a call at about 8:15 p.m. Thursday about two jet skiers who were expected to return to the Brandenburg Park area at about 7 p.m.

The Chesterfield Township Police Department identified the jet skiers as Kloss and 19-year-old Hunter Lentine from New Baltimore.

On Thursday, the Coast Guard launched a search in Anchor Bay, near Fair Haven, and located Lentine, who was unconscious but wearing a life jacket. He is receiving treatment at an area hospital and is now stable.

Chesterfield Township officers and the Macomb County Sheriff's Office resumed the search for Kloss at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say there is no sign of criminal activity and are investigating this as an accident.
