Trip To Target Ends With Fire Department Rescue For 4-Year-Old
TROY (WWJ) - A trip to a Target ends with a call to the fire department.
The Troy Fire Department says a four-year-old girl got her fingers stuck in a hand-held plastic shopping basket at the store on Coolidge Saturday afternoon.
Employees tried to free her with soap, but were unsuccessful.
Authorities say they had to cut the basket from around the girl's hands before cutting the holes around her fingers with scissors.
The child was uninjured and turned over to her mother.
