Time To Start Filling Out The Final Four
Time to start filling out that Final Four.
On Saturday, No. 1 seed Oregon faces No. 2 seed Oklahoma in Anaheim, California. The Ducks and Sooners, which would make a nice College Football Playoff semifinal, tip off at 6:09 p.m. ET.
In Louisville, Kentucky, it will be another 1 vs. 2 matchup in the South Region. Top overall seed Kansas faces No. 2 Villanova at 8:49 p.m. ET, which has won all three of its games going away.
The Sunday slate has No. 10 seed Syracuse against top seed Virginia in Chicago for the Midwest Regional championship at 6:09 p.m. ET.
The East Regional is down to sixth-seeded Notre Dame and No. 1 seed North Carolina at 8:49 p.m. in Philadelphia.
That's an all-ACC regional final day. It is just the second time in NCAA Tournament history one conference has had half of the last eight teams. In 2009, the Big East put UConn, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Villanova in the Elite Eight.
The ACC is guaranteed at least two Final Four teams. The last tie the ACC put two teams in the Final Four was 2004 (Duke and Georgia Tech). The ACC is also assured of having a team play for the national title.
