Tigers Falter Losing 6-3, Cleveland Finishes Off 3-Game Sweep

DETROIT (AP) - Francisco Lindor got three hits and the Cleveland Indians overcame an early injury to starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco to beat the Detroit Tigers 6-3 Sunday, finishing off a three-game sweep.

Tigers manager Brad Ausmus juggled his lineup, leaving slumping Miguel Cabrera and Justin Upton on the bench. A day after Ausmus kept the clubhouse closed for a half-hour after a loss, Detroit dropped its fourth in a row and fell for the seventh time in nine games.

Carrasco and Tigers starter Shane Greene (1-2) both left the game with injuries in a span of about 15 minutes. Carrasco hurt his right hamstring on an awkward play while covering first base and Greene broke open a blister on his pitching hand.

Trevor Bauer (1-0) picked up the win, allowing two runs in 3 1/3 innings of relief. Cody Allen pitched the ninth for his sixth save.
