"The Huntsman: Winter's War" Will Grab Your Attention From The Start And Hold On Til The End

DETROIT (WWJ) - "The Huntsman: Winter's War" is a thrilling follow-up to 2012's "Snow White and the Huntsman". I had an absolutely fantastic time watching this film. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning and held on tight until the credits stopped rolling. That's right; I didn't want to leave the theater just in case there was a sneak peek at what's to come down the road. This movie is fun; it's exciting; it's beautiful visually; it features comedy; and the story is very well written.

In "The Huntsman: Winter's War", Charlize Theron reprises her role as the evil queen Ravenna, who because of an unthinkable act, turns her good sister Freya against her.

When Freya's heart gets broken, she decides to leave home and moves far away to the north, creating what becomes her own icy kingdom. To ensure her protection, Freya creates an army of huntsmen, who pledge their loyalty to her and who are forbidden to ever fall in love.

Two of those huntsmen are Eric and Sara, the kingdom's best warriors. When things don't go exactly the way Freya designs them, the two comrades ultimately find themselves on the outside looking in. That is, until the queen needs them again.

If you like movies with non-stop action and movies that keep you guessing about what's going to happen next, you'll definitely enjoy this movie. It's a new take on the tale of Snow White, and not as dark as its predecessor. I loved it!

In addition to Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Eric and Jessica Chastain joins the cast as Sara.

See you at the movies!
