Texas Manager Ron Washington on Trade "We Got a Quality Player That's Hurt"

Admit it! You're bummed too that former Tiger Prince Fielder isn't in Detroit Thursday to play in the first game of the four game series with the Rangers. Fielder is suffering from neck and back injuries and did not travel with the team. Instead he is consulting with team doctors in Texas.
According to Texas manager Ron Washington; Fielder could still play in the last 3 games of the series if his exams turn out to be alright. If that were the case, he would fly to Detroit on Friday. So all might not be lost...
Of course, Fielder's absence also put a damper on his reunion with the media.
I had so many questions for Prince.
Does he regret the end of the season comments?
Was he happy here in Detroit?
Did the overall negativity directed at him affect his play?
I'm just getting started too. There are at least 20 other questions I can think of off the top of my head to fire at Fielder.
But since he's not here, I decided to fire those same questions at Washington instead...
What are his impressions of Fielder and his slow start? Fielder is hitting just .247 with 3 homers and 16 RBI in 42 games with Texas.
How disappointed is Prince not to be in Detroit for this series?
What are his early thoughts of the Fielder for Ian Kinsler trade?
Does Washington believe that Fielder needed a change of scenery, considering how things ended last season in Detroit?
Common sense tells me that Fielder is legitimately hurt and wants to play in this 4 game series. However I just can't help to think, that maybe he's faking it and didn't want to bother with the hassle of playing his former team?
What are you thinking?
