Teenage Passenger Killed In Crash In Northern Oakland County
CLARKSTON (WWJ) - Authorities say an 18-year-old is dead after an overnight accident in northern Oakland County.
The accident happened around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at Clintonville and Mann roads in Clarkston.
According to police, a Dodge Neon was in the middle of the intersection, possibly trying to make a turn, when it was struck by a truck. Other circumstances weren't immediately clear.
An 18-year-old passenger in the Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Department is expected to release more information about the crash later Tuesday.
