Teen Mom Missing In Detroit Since Monday
DETROIT (WWJ) - Family members are concerned about the well-being of 16-year-old girl who's been missing since Monday morning.
Tony Moore Jackson was last seen on March 17 at around 10 a.m. walking on the 2600 block of Sturtevant on the city's west side.
Grandmother Marcia Jackson says Tony suffers from bi-polar disorder, and it's not first time she's taken off.
"All of a sudden she just goes. You know, she'll like hear voices and they'll tell her to go," Marcia Jackson told WWJ Newsradio 950. "But she's not on any medication that I know of ... She's not been in therapy long enough to be seen to be put on medication."
Tony left behind a 5-month-old son at home.
"We miss her and her baby needs her; her family needs her," the grandmother said.
Tony is described as a black female, 5 feet, 1 inch tall and around 130 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black coat, beige shirt, and blue jeans. She was carrying a black purse.
Police said the teen is in good physical condition.
