Southeast Michigan stabbing suspect found
(CBS DETROIT) — The man suspected of stabbing a fellow family member is now in custody.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's office reported the suspect, 33-year-old Brent Durrant, was placed in custody in a Facebook post Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday morning, the sheriff's office received reports of Durrant around the area of Meijer supermarket on 24th Ave., though it's unknown exactly where he was found.
At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, St. Clair County deputies and fire officials responded to a home in the 4000 block of Parker Road in Fort Gratiot Township after receiving a report of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found a 56-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and a 55-year-old woman with cuts to her hand. Both are residents of the home.
Authorities say the 33-year-old is a family member of the victims.
