Suspect Arrested In Connection With Carjacking Of 2 Elderly Women At Motor City Casino
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the robbery, carjacking and kidnapping of two grandmothers at Motor City Casino.
Police Sgt. Cassandra Lewis told WWJ Newsradio 950 that Michigan State Police helped identify the suspect, locate his employer and arrest him Saturday afternoon.
On Thursday, the two victims were leaving the casino when they were confronted on the roof of the parking garage by a man with a gun. He got away with their money and Red PT Cruiser.
Police said the women were frightened but not physically hurt.
