Steve Mariucci Posts Photo Of Tom Izzo Rocking That Wavy '70s Hair

CBS DETROIT - The Michigan State Spartans get down to business Friday as they try to knock off 1-seed Virginia and advance to the Elite Eight, which would put them one step closer to keeping the streak (every player who has stayed four years as a Spartan under head coach Tom Izzo has gone to a Final Four) alive in the venerable coach's 19th season.

In the meantime, here is a hysterical and adorable photo of Izzo posted by his buddy and former Detroit Lions coach Steve Mariucci.

Mariucci captioned the 1977 pic with a "Throwback Thursday" hashtag. Back then Izzo was just 22, right around the age of the college players he coaches now. Izzo will turn 60 on Jan. 30.
