Social Media Brag About Theft Of Donald Trump Sign Leads Police To Suspects
DETROIT (WWJ) - A social media post has tipped police-off to a stolen Donald Trump lawn sign.
It happened late last week in Livingston County, after three teenagers allegedly took the 4-foot by 8-foot sign from a resident's property in Brighton. Police were alerted to the incident after a social media post admitted to the theft.
The sign, valued at around $300 - was seen in a picture of three women with their middle fingers up.
Officials say one of the women contacted police. All three are 18 or 19 years old.
The incident remains under investigation.
