Serious Newspaper Baltimore Sun Quotes 'Jack Mehoff' At Trump Rally

BALTIMORE (CBS Detroit) Was I.P Freeley in the bathroom during the rally? Perhaps Michael Hunt was out complaining about restaurant food and couldn't be bothered to chat with this reporter.

However it happened, reporter Ian Duncan quoted a man in a serious story about reaction to a Donald Trump rally in Baltimore. And the man's name was reported as "Jack Mehoff."

In its story, the Baltimore Sun  says," Jack Mehoff, 19, praised Trump as a hardworking, smart individual that wants the best for all people in this country that are allowed to be here."

A Google search of that name pulls up no one -- thankfully -- so we can only assume the reporter fell for a prank. Were there no copy editors available? Is this prankster making fun of Trump or really supporting him?

We reached out to the reporter, but he didn't respond to a call seeking comment.
