Semi Rolls Over, Halting Traffic On I-96 In Livonia
LIVONIA (WWJ) - A busy stretch of I-96 in Livonia has shut down in the middle of the morning commute due to an overturned semi-truck.
The accident happened Friday morning on westbound I-96 near Levan Road, just east of the I-275 interchange.
Circumstances surrounding the crash weren't immediately clear, but a semi-truck ended up rolling over. It was carrying materials and debris from a recently demolished home.
No injuries were reported.

Livonia police say the westbound lanes will remain closed for several hours.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area. Traffic backups are reported to Middle Belt Road.
