Roseville Man Turns Himself In In Year-Old Fatal Crash

ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - A Roseville man has been charged in the 2013 traffic death of a 20-year-old Troy woman.

Hailey Marie Brouillet was killed last October in a multi-vehicle crash on Rochester Road near Hamlin in Rochester Hills in front of a Bordine's store.  Oakland County Sheriff's officials said at least six cars were involved in the accident.

Stephen Fischer, 65, turned himself in to crash investigators on Tuesday. He was arraigned in 52-3 District Court, charged with reckless driving causing death and reckless driving causing serious impairment of a body function.

Fischer was released on a $50,000 personal bond, on the condition that he doesn't drive, and will be back in court for a pre-exam conference before Judge Julie Nicholson on April 22.

Fischer faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
