Rosa Parks Transit Center In Downtown Detroit Evacuated Over Suspicious Package

DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities confirm the Rosa Parks Transit Center in downtown Detroit has been evacuated.

A suspicious package was found at the center early Thursday afternoon and as a precaution, the Detroit Department of Transportation cleared the building and called the Detroit Police bomb squad to investigate.

Workers in the area are directing bus riders on where they need to go to catch whatever bus they need.

No injuries have been reported.
