Return Of Denver Nuggets' 'White Pride' Uniforms Causes A Stir [PHOTOS]

Alternate jerseys are a very common thing in the NBA nowadays. It seems like every team has at least one unique set of threads every season.

The Detroit Pistons have their Chrome uniforms and their Motor City uniforms -- known around the league as a Pride jersey. Many teams have Pride jerseys -- Washington, Portland, Houston and Orlando to name a few.

The Denver Nuggets announced a new Pride uniform before last season which they called their "WHITEGOLD" alternates.

On Monday, the Nuggets and Adidas announced which dates the team would be wearing each of its alternate jerseys for the upcoming season. In doing so, they listed the WHITEGOLD uniforms as "White Pride" on their website, something the team took heat for last season as well.

The uniforms look "to incorporate the spirit of Denver and the Rocky Mountains into a unique new style to the Nuggets."

The website was later changed after there was enough outrage on the internet. According to Denver Stiffs, the Nuggets were not responsible for the wording of the jerseys listed on the website and the jersey slogans and titles come from Adidas.

Nevertheless, that's a big oops.
