CBS DETROIT - New Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has apparently landed another transfer. Stanford cornerback Wayne Lyons was reported to be considering a move to Michigan, and Wolverines defensive backs coach Mike Zordich essentially confirmed the transfer Thursday.

"Wayne was here over the weekend, spent some time with him," Zordich said, according to Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News. "I've watched a lot of film on him. I think he's the right kind of body, a bigger body, kind of like [Michigan's] Channing [Stribling]. A lot of length. A pretty good corner. From what I saw with him at Stanford, he did pretty well."

Speculation about Lyons transferring to Michigan heightened when his mother, Gwendolyn Bush, was hired as the football program's director of player development. With the mention of Lyons by Zordich, it seems all but official that the cornerback is indeed headed for Ann Arbor.

A spokesperson for Michigan football did not immediately return a voicemail and an email seeking confirmation of Lyons' transfer.
