CBS DETROIT - Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has restructured his contract in a move that gives the Lions some cap relief, according to Tom Pelissero of USA Today.
Cap space has been scarce for the Lions thanks in part to hefty contract extensions for quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin Johnson, and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's cap hit this season is the enormous.
#Lions restructured Reggie Bush's contract today for cap purposes, I'm told. Still signed through 2016. Making $3.5 million this season.

With Ndamukong Suh still counting $22.4M+ against the cap in last non-void year of deal, #Lions have been tight. NFLPA had them $724K under.

Bush signed a four-year, $16 million deal with Detroit last year.
