CBS DETROIT - New Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has reportedly added another assistant coach to the fold. Florida defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin will be leaving the Gators to take the same position at Michigan, according to FootballScoop.com.
Durkin served as interim head coach for Florida during the team's bowl game this season. He had worked with Harbaugh from 2007 to 2009 at Stanford.
As first pointed out by Alejandro Zuniga of Michigan's student newspaper, both Durkin and expected new offensive coordinator Tim Drevno already have registered University of Michigan email addresses in the school's online directory.
