The Detroit Lions have reportedly found their next GM.

ESPN's Adam Schefter has tweeted that the Lions are expected to hire New England Patriots' Director of pro scouting Bob Quinn as their GM.

It was reported earlier this week that the Lions interviewed Quinn along with other candidates. Quinn has worked with the New England Patriots for the past 16 seasons.

Earlier this week, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick endorsed Quinn.

The Lions fired former GM Martin Mayhew on November 5, 2015.

According to Foxsports.com:

Due to New England's success and Belichick's endorsement, Quinn will be a fan favorite to become the Lions' next GM. With the help of NFL consultant Ernie Accorsi, team president Rod Wood and ownership make the final decision

Quinn has spent his entire career with the Patriots as the player personnel assistant in 2000.
