CBS DETROIT - The one-two punch of running backs Reggie Bush and Joique Bell will remain intact for the Detroit Lions in the 2014, with Bell signing an extension with the Lions just a few hours before free agency.
RB Joique Bell with a 3-year, $9.3 million deal to remain a Lion. Much deserved pay raise for one of the league's most versatile backs.

Bell amassed 650 yards on 166 carries in 2013. He played in all 16 games and ran for 43 first downs, including eight touchdowns. Bell also played all 16 games in 2012 and recorded 414 yards on 82 attempts.
Bush, for one, appears thrilled with the news.
Congrats to my bro Joique Bell on the new deal! Glad to have him back our offense wouldn't be complete without him! pic.twitter.com/Eo65GQ6gml

Before arriving in Detroit, Bell was an undrafted free agent who had bounced among the practice squads of the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. He had played in just eight games (five for Indianapolis, three for Philadelphia) in his rookie season and none in his second year before the Lions picked him up.
