Red Wings To Transform Joe Louis Arena Stairs With "Farewell Season At The Joe" Logo
DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings today announced that the stairs leading up to the East and West Entrances of Joe Louis Arena will be transformed by adding the "Farewell Season at The Joe" logo to celebrate the Red Wings' final season at Joe Louis Arena. The installation process is set to begin on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 11:00 a.m.
The "Farewell Season at The Joe" stair wraps will mark the first time the Red Wings have transformed the stairs leading into Joe Louis Arena for the regular season. The commemorative stair wraps will remain at both entrances for the duration of the 2016-17 campaign. Fans are encouraged to take photos of the stairs at any time and use the hashtag #Farewell2TheJoe.
