Goalie Coach Jim Bedard Ousted By Red Wings

The Detroit Red Wings are in need for a new goaltender coach.
According to The Detroit News, the Red Wings did not renew the contract for goalie coach Jim Bedard.
Red Wings goaltenders didn't exactly set the world on fire during the 2015-16 season. Jimmy Howard had a record of 14-14-5 while recording a 2.80 GAA with a save percentage of .906. Petr Mrazek who started off the season hot, finished with a 27-16-6 record, a 2.33 GAA and a .921 save percentage.
Bedard had been coaching the Red Wings goalies for the past 18 seasons.
Also according to The News the Red Wings assigned assistant coach Pat Ferschweiler to the press box.
Former assistant coach Tony Granato took the head coaching job at Wisconsin at the end of March.
