Red Wings Agree To 2-Year, $1.8 Million Deal With Tomas Jurco
DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Red Wings have agreed to a $1.8 million, two-year contract with right wing Tomas Jurco.
The 22-year-old Jurco played 63 games with the Red Wings in 2014-15, scoring three goals with 15 assists. He also had a goal and an assist in Detroit's seven-game loss to Tampa Bay in the first round of the playoffs.
Jurco was a second-round draft pick by the Red Wings in 2011. He made his NHL debut in 2013-14, scoring eight goals with seven assists in 36 games.
