Recall: Kirkland Signature Ground Pepper
DETROIT (WWJ) - California-based Olde Thompson is recalling 12-ounce plastic jars of Kirkland Signature Coarse Ground Malabar Pepper.
They have a 'Best Before' date of March 2017.
The recall is due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The recall affects over five-thousand cases of pepper sold at Costco stores nationwide between April and June.
The bacterium was discovered during routine FDA sampling of consumer products.
If you have the recalled product, please do not consume it. Please dispose of the recalled product and its container.
