Police Warn Residents About Stranger Danger Incident In Farmington Hills

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - Police in Farmington Hills are warning parents about a stranger danger encounter  involving a young child a near a bus stop.

Police say on Friday an 8-year-old boy was approached at a school bus stop at Cranleigh and Briarwyke Drive.

A 6 foot tall man - with a skinny build approached the child and asked him to get inside his white four-door vehicle. But the little boy kept walking away from the man-- and went directly home.

Meantime, as Farmington Hills Police continue their investigation, they will be increasing patrols in the areas of schools and bus stops.
