Police Warn 'Lock Your Doors' After Daytime Break-Ins In Plymouth
PLYMOUTH (WWJ) - Plymouth police are warning residents to lock up after two daytime burglaries and an attempted break-in.
"The Plymouth Police would like to remind residents to make sure their doors are locked and to report anything suspicious in your neighborhood. If you have an alarm, please use it," the department said in a statement out Wednesday.
One of the homes was on Sheldon Road near north Territorial while the others were on Karmada Street between Farmer and Junction, according to police. Both crimes happened this past Monday.
Investigators say the thieves were looking for electronics, including televisions and laptop computers.
No one was at the homes when the break-ins occurred in any of the three incidents.
Police say if come home and find your house as been broken into, you shouldn't touch anything, but leave immediately and find a safe place to call police.
