Police Seeking Help Finding Teen Who Left For Grandmother's House; Never Arrived

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are asking for help locating a Detroit teen missing since Monday afternoon.

Ariel Wilkins, 15, was last seen at her home on McCormick around 3:40 p.m. when she told her mom she was going to her grandmother's house in the 9600 block of Everett but never showed up at the home.

Ariel is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and has brown eyes. Her mom says that her hair is currently designed in two French braids with a black headband around her head.

Ariel was last seen wearing a gray "East English Village" school uniform shirt, underneath a pink, fuzzy North Face jacket and tan pants.
