Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect With Rhinestone Encrusted Glasses [PHOTO]
PLYMOUTH TWP. (WWJ) - Police are searching for a bank robber who has a flashy sense of style.
The robbery happened just before 11 a.m. Wednesday at the PNC Bank on Ann Arbor Road, just east of I-275 in Plymouth Township.
Police say the suspect, a black male believed to be 25- to 30-years-old, entered he bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.
After he got the cash, the suspect fled the scene in burgundy Oldsmobile Alero.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as approximately 6'0" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a long-sleeved grey pull-over shirt, dark pants and a red baseball hat with the Chiefs logo on the front.
The suspect was also wearing white-framed sunglasses encrusted with rhinestones.
Police say the vehicle appears to be a model year from the early 2000. It has a spoiler on the trunk and factory chrome wheels.
