Police Search For Missing Farmington Man Who's Prone To Seizures

FARMINGTON (WWJ) -- Police are on the lookout for a man who went missing in Detroit on Saturday.

Police say that 55-year-old Marlin Trent Smith, who is a Farmington resident, left his brother's residence on Lafayette in Detroit at around 2 p.m. on Saturday and has not been seen since.

Smith suffers from a closed head injury and is susceptible to seizures. His family is concerned because he has not taken his anti-seizure medications.

Smith is described as a 5-foot-10, 180-pound black man. He was last seen wearing dark grey pants, a Michael Jackson t-shirt, white gym shoes and a black Army hat.

Smith wears glasses and has a short beard. He is also known by his nickname, Smitty.

Anyone with information on Smith's whereabouts is asked to call the Farmington Public Safety Department at 248-474-4700.
