Police: Ohio Couple Killed Missing Michigan Man
TOLEDO (AP) — Police in northern Ohio have charged a husband and wife with killing a Michigan man who was last seen coaching a softball game three weeks ago.
The suspects are being held on unrelated charges at a jail in Anderson, Indiana.
Robert Strauss and Desirae Strauss of Toledo were charged with murder Thursday in the death of 52-year-old Brian Martin of Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Jailers and court officials in Indiana did not know if the couple has an attorney.
Investigators tell Toledo media outlets that Martin's body has not been found. They believe he was killed in Toledo and that his body is somewhere between Toledo and Anderson, Indiana.
Martin was last seen coaching a softball game on June 22 near Toledo.
