Police: Missing Independence Township Man Suffers From ADHD And Asperger's Syndrome

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- Oakland County police are on the lookout for a man who went missing from a group home on Thursday.

Adam Ross McClain, 21, was last seen at an adult care residence on the 4900 block of Ennismore in Independence Township early Thursday morning. Police say he has severe ADHD issues, Asperger's Syndrome and functions at about a 14-year-old level.

McClain was discovered missing from his room during a bed check by staff at around 6 am. It is believed he left the residence through his bedroom window.

Residence staff, along with his mother, believes McClain would be headed to the Waterford Township area and he may be inclined to stay in an area park.

McClain is described as a light-skinned African-American male, 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark blue or black pajama bottoms and a white softball style t-shirt with dark blue or black sleeves.
