Police: Man Shot In Back While Riding Bike
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say a man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the back while riding his bike near Palmer Park on the city's west side.
The shooting happened early Wednesday morning in an otherwise quiet neighborhood along Woodward Avenue and Margaret Street, between 6 Mile and 7 Mile roads.
Police say the man was rushed to Detroit Receiving Hospital, although his current condition is unknown. His name was not released.
The incident remains under investigation. Investigators say they're not sure of a motive and suspects have yet to be identified.
