Police Investingating After Transgender Woman Found Dead In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating after the body of a 20-year-old black transgender woman is found in Detroit over the weekend.
Early reports claim that Amber Monroe was shot, but Detroit police are still working to get more details.
Monroe's death puts the number of murders of a transgender women in the U.S. at 12 this year, and 10 of whom are transgender women of color.
