Police Find Toddler, Cancel Amber Alert For Missing Girl
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say they've canceled an AMBER Alert for a 18-month-old girl missing in the Detroit area.
Jazz Barrett was last seen at a Kroger store on 8 Mile Road at Wyoming in Detroit and an AMBER alert was issued Thursday afternoon.
It was reported that Jazz might be in the company of her mother, Donna Barrett and Thursday night police are not saying anything more than both the girl and her mother have been found.
Law enforcement officials said they were concerned for the child's safety and welfare "due to an ongoing investigation" — but more specific details were not immediately available.
