Pistons' Feb 4 Game Vs. Knicks Moved To TNT Primetime

AUBURN HILLS (CBS Detroit) -- The Detroit Pistons will gain a bit of national exposure soon, as one of their February games will be carried on national television.

TNT has picked up the team's Feb. 4 game against the New York Knicks. The game will be pushed back 30 minutes to a 7 p.m. start and will precede a Los Angeles Lakers-New Orleans Pelicans matchup as the first part of the Thursday night primetime doubleheader.

The Motor City-Big Apple matchup will replace a Houston Rockets-Phoenix Suns game that was originally scheduled for that time slot.

The game will mark the team's first appearance on TNT since the 2008-2009 season. The Pistons came into the 2015-2016 season without any games scheduled to be played on TNT, ESPN or ABC, but will play four more nationally televised games on NBA TV.
