Phil Jackson As Pistons Coach?
DETROIT (97.1 THE TICKET) - In May of 2013, the Detroit Pistons hired Phil Jackson to serve as an adviser in the search for a new head coach.
Jackson will work with owner, Tom Gores and president of basketball operations Joe Dumars.
The Pistons' website notes that Gores and Dumars are looking forward to Jackson's input in the search.
The role appears to be a temporary position within the organization and lists Dumars as the lead on the new coaching hire.
Would it be so out of the question to see Phil Jackson as the new head coach of the Pistons?
