Report: 17-Year-Old Girl Pulled From Burning Home In Warren Dies At Hospital
WARREN (WWJ) -- Reports indicate a 17-year-old girl has died after being pulled from the basement of a Warren home that caught fire on Monday.
Flames were reported shortly after 4 p.m. at a house on Austin Dr. near 13 Mile Rd. and Dequindre. Apparently the fire started in the garage -- where something was being cooked -- then spread throughout the house.
The teen and a second woman were rushed to the hospital, where the 17-year-old eventually died. An investigation is still ongoing.
An investigation is just getting underway.
